LIGHTHOUSE PROJECTS
Service management system
As a certified ISO20000 consultant I was allowed to develop a complete service management system (SMS) for a large pharmaceutical company as a basis for a global service transition program. The project included the development and establishment of the individual service management processes, the creation of a suitable web application and the training of the involved employees. Thanks to the newly established SMS, the service transition program was completed successfully and on schedule.
Regulatory information management system
As development lead and certified scrum master I coordinated up to 20 globally distributed developers in a software development project based on agile principles. Thanks to knowledge linking, lateral thinking and with the necessary persuasiveness with the stakeholders, I was able to fundamentally change the originally intended system architecture and thus achieved significant cost savings for the customer. The project was completed successfully and on time despite (or because of) the changed system architecture.
Data center consolidation
As lead analyst, I coordinated the consolidation of the IT infrastructure (hardware and software) of a major pharmaceutical company from 13 obsolete local data centers to 2 new central data centers. Through meticulous planning, consideration of the complex dependencies between several thousand components and optimal use of resources, the 3-year program was completed successfully and within the planned time without any unplanned system failures.
